Improvisational Realms

Taking a break until 2010, will start again in Feb-March.

Ongoing class before the Dance Jam is 1,5 hours long and designed for those who want to warm-up for the Dance Jam with improvisational scores. In the series we will be exploring the realms of improvisation each time from a different perspective, adding on our artistic palette.

We will be using contact improv as one of our inspirations and themes, and we will extend our focus and have a larger frame for investigation. We will be exploring touch, movement, listening, contact and improvisation from the perspective of art making. Sourcing our inspiration from tactile experience, visual field, kinesthetic sense and imagination we will be dancing our intuition in and out of contact. This is all levels class.

Contact Improv class: 7-8:30pm

Dance Jam: 8:30pm-midnight
