Rosemary Hannon danced with Alma Esperanza Cunningham (AEC) Movement throughout the bay area at local venues and festivals including San Francisco International Arts Festival, West Wave Dance Festival, and ODC’s Pop. With AEC Movement she also danced at the State Theater in Austin, Texas and for Movement Research at Judson Church in NYC. In 2007 she performed in “Princess” at the Joyce SoHo in NYC, which the New York Times review described as, “always wielding potent force whether barefoot or wearing high heels.” In 2005 and 2006 she performed improvisation with Scott Wells and Dancers. She has also performed improvisation with Body Cartography in various site-specific projects, with Katarina Eriksson at Moment’s Notice improvisation salon and with Vitali Kononov at the American Dance Festival. She has also taught dance to children since 1996 and holds a Master’s degree in education.
